The Work Environment in Brazil: How to benefit from opportunities in Brics' Most stable economy

This seminar will begin with a general overview of Brazil in the 21st century and then move into discussions about the public sector, namely Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC) Growth Acceleration Program, a major investment plan announced by the Brazilian government in 2007 by President Lula and currently continued by President Dilma. The seminar will also discuss movement in the private sector as Brazilian multinational companies become more optimistic about overseas business opportunities in the wake of the international financial crisis. Lastly, the seminar will present participants with up-to-date resources on how to find a job in Brazil including how to search for a position, visa/work and Brazilian labor laws regulations and country-specific networking/interview and negotiation and compensation tactics.
